For operators and tactical shooters requiring immediate tool-less detachability, upgrading to a Quick Detach (QD) interface is a necessary functional enhancement.  

Co-developed and manufactured by American Defense Mfg (ADM), the Unity Tactical FAST™ QD Lever replaces the factory cross-bolt hardware on compatible FAST™ mounts. It transforms fixed optic risers into tool-free, tension-adjustable quick-detach mounting systems.  

Machined from 7075-T6 aerospace aluminum with Type III hardcoat anodizing, the lever assembly includes the proprietary UNITY™ QD Nut. Engineered specifically to interface with Picatinny rail profiles without deformative stress, this proprietary component ensures secure locking engagement while shielding host rail surfaces from clamping damage.

FAQ

• Q: Do FAST FTC magnifier mounts require purchasing this QD lever separately?
  • A: No. FAST™ FTC OMNI, FTC 30mm, and FTC PA mounts come with the FAST™ QD Lever pre-installed from the factory.  
• Q: Is this lever compatible with older FAST Optic Risers?
  • A: It is only compatible with FAST™ Optic Risers manufactured as of August 2023 or later.
• Q: Why can't I use a standard ADM nut with this lever?
  • A: Standard ADM nuts lack the proprietary geometry required to interface safely with Unity mounts without crushing host rails. Using a non-UNITY nut will cause rail damage and is not covered under warranty.
