The Roll 1™ Trauma Pouch is a Dangler®-style medical pouch designed for rapid deployment of IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) contents in emergency situations. Originally conceptualized by Forward Observations Group for SOF operators in Syria, this pouch has been redesigned in collaboration with Ferro Concepts to bring mission-ready medical access to the field.

The Roll 1™ is intended to be mounted in the rear plate pocket opening of a plate carrier—utilizing unused space, improving lumbar support during full-kit vehicle rides, and staying out of the way until needed. Its open-ended, ambidextrous design allows access from either side of the casualty. Just grab either deployment pull tab, yank, and go.

Beyond rear plate mounting, the Roll 1™ can also be attached to the front of a plate carrier, battle belt, or any platform with a hook-and-loop Velcro® interface. Included with the system are the outer pouch and removable insert pouch. Trauma kit/IFAK contents are sold separately.

Why “Roll 1”?

The name is derived from military medical care terminology—“Role 1” refers to tactical-level medical support that delivers immediate, life-saving intervention, triage, and first aid.
