In competitive practical shooting and heavy gas blowback operations, stock cast zinc-alloy hammers represent one of the primary failure points inside the fire-control group. Repeated physical impact from linear slide travel combined with tension from upgraded hammer springs rapidly wears down soft factory sear hooks, introducing spongy trigger creep, inconsistent break points, or dangerous sear slippage.

Engineered by custom race-gun pioneer Clarence Lai, the CL Project Design (CLPD) CZ TS2 & Orange Style Steel Hammer Set brings iconic real-steel competition geometry straight to the GBB platform. Bypassing cheap cast metals, this fire-control unit is precision-machined 100% from high-density solid steel to manage heavy mechanical shear loads. Featuring micrometer-calibrated engagement hooks, it eliminates trigger slop to yield a glass-like competition break. Offered in both Black and Silver finishes, this upgrade allows shooters to elevate both fire-control longevity and race-gun aesthetics.

Key Features

• Monolithic CNC Machined Steel Matrix: Machined entirely from solid high-tensile steel to withstand violent slide indexing and high-tension springs without deformation or fatigue.
• Real-Steel CZ TS2 / Shadow 2 Orange Styling: Accurately replicates the distinctive skeletonized profile seen on custom real-steel CZ competition handguns.
• Master-Tuned Sear Notch Calibration: Hook coordinates and engagement shelves are milled to micrometer tolerances, completely eradicating trigger creep for a crisp, predictable break in both Single-Action (SA) and Double-Action (DA) modes.
• Consistent Energy Transfer: Increased structural rigidity delivers a uniform strike to the valve knocker upon release, stabilizing gas output across rapid strings of fire.
• Dual-Platform Drop-In Parity: Custom-contoured for direct drop-in integration with ASG and KJW CZ Shadow 2 and CZ 75 SP-01 GBB series pistols without filing.
• Black & Silver Finish Options: Available in classic stealthy Black or bright race-gun Silver to complement custom slide and frame builds.

FAQ

• Q: Is this steel hammer set compatible with both the ASG / KJW CZ Shadow 2 and SP-01?
  • A: Yes. The CLPD hammer set features dual-platform geometry designed to drop straight into ASG and KJW Shadow 2 and SP-01 GBB frames.
• Q: How does a steel hammer improve trigger performance over the stock part?
  • A: Stock zinc hammers wear down easily over time, rounding off the sear notch and creating a soft, imprecise break. The CNC steel construction maintains sharp, micrometer-accurate sear engagement for long-term consistency.
• Q: Are there any mechanical differences between the Black and Silver options?
  • A: No. Both color options feature identical CNC steel manufacturing specifications and internal tolerances.
