For over six years, the FCPC V5 set the industry benchmark for scalable, lightweight modular armor carriers, establishing the framework for the Universal Carrier Attachment Standard (UCAS). To adapt to evolving mission profiles and modern equipment requirements, Ferro Concepts analyzed years of operational feedback to engineer the FCPC V6 Base.

Rather than altering its core principles, the V6 refines carrier geometry, enhances plate closure security, and streamlines comms and electronics integration. Designed as a versatile "blank canvas," the FCPC V6 Base allows operators to build out their mission-specific setup while benefiting from improved mechanical stability and reduced overall slop.

Key structural upgrades include a precision-adjusted shoulder strap length for consistent fit across varied torso sizes, an integrated bottom press snap to secure front flaps down during Over-the-Beach (OTB) or rapid physical maneuvers, internal plate retention flaps inside the rear bag, and 1/2" webbing loops below the admin pocket for clean comms and EUD cable routing.

Key Features

• Precision SAPI Plate Bag Geometry: Sized engineered specifically around standard SAPI/ESAPI contours to minimize internal armor shifting under movement.
• Over-The-Beach (OTB) Front Flap Snap: Features an integrated heavy-duty metal snap at the bottom of the front plate bag to lock down front flaps during maritime, amphib, or violent movement.
• Integrated Cable Management: Incorporates 1/2" webbing channels beneath the front flap and admin pocket for routing communications cables, PTT lines, and EUD wire harnesses.
• Upgraded Admin Pocket: Expanded loop Velcro paneling provides higher shear strength when mounting chest-mounted End User Devices (EUD) or navigation platforms.
• Enhanced Rear Panel Structure: Redesigned internal plate retention flap keeps hard armor firmly positioned under heavy back loads; adds one full row of laser-cut MOLLE across the lower rear exterior alongside 3 tie-in loops per side.
• Refined Shoulder Ergonomics: Slightly shortened shoulder strap geometry delivers balanced fitment and height placement across diverse body shapes and plate thicknesses.
• Broad Modular Compatibility: Natively supports all Ferro Concepts ADAPT front flaps and accessories, standard industry placards, and UCAS-compliant components.
• Berry Compliant & Made in USA: Manufactured in the United States using premium materials to optimize durability-to-weight performance.
