Modlite - Getting Started with PL350
Thank you for your purchase of the Modlite PL350. Below are a few resources for setup and common questions.
PL350 Installation
What is the rail clamp torque spec?
When tightening the rail clamp to the frame of your pistol, use common sense and tighten accordingly. On polymer frames, 18–22 in./lbs. On metal-framed pistols, 12–17 in./lb. If your rail requires additional clamping pressure to attach the light, please proceed accordingly and insure your rail geometry is compatible with either Picatinny or Weaver rail profiles.
If you are unsure which rail adapter to use, see the chart below:

Frequently Asked Questions
The PL350 will work in all light-bearing 6XXX series holsters. 7XXX series support is in progress.
However, some end users are reporting issues with some older models, in particular the 6354DO. Safariland issues continuous updates to their products, so some older models that we did not have access to in testing may have fitment issues. We take pride in our customer service, and we ask that if you’re experiencing any issues to contact us first to help troubleshoot. Most users we’ve been able to aid in achieving a proper fitment.
If you are using a 6XXX Series holster and are having trouble with ALS engagement, we recommend removing the plug from the holster that would sit in front of the light. Not only for fitment but for the possibility of brass or debris getting lodged in the holster. Check out a video on that subject here.
If you would like to replace the light plug with a significantly higher quality component that will allow for drainage, but still cover the bottom of the holster, consider replacing the plug with a Ghostmen Designs Portal. Ghostmen Designs also specialize in holster modifications, and have agreed in advance to accept customers who would like to inquire about modifying their current holster to accommodate a PL350 if they are wanting to do so.

No. Due to their solid, single piece design, the G2 Switch assembly and paddles are not swappable or user serviceable. If your switch has issues, please contact our support team.
No. Like any new pistol light, the PL350 requires a dedicated holster for CCW Kydex holsters.
PL350 does not have a fitment for sub-compact handguns, even ones that have a rail like the Glock 48 MOS or the Sig Sauer P365. We have no plans to design one at this time.
Most handguns will have the best fit with the forward rail adapter slot. If you are able to achieve multiple fitments on your firearm and are unsure what configuration to use, we recommend reaching out to the holster manufacturer of your choice and asking them what configuration they recommend for proper fitment into their PL350 holster.
The 18350 cell supports Modlite heads for about 35-40 minutes of continuous use.
